This week, we were on the Carole circuit to attend the Vitesse meeting of the French Motorcycling Federation. A now classic meeting on which we have already published our file (part 1 - Part 2).

While waiting to shed our own new light, here is a first report on this initiative intended to promote the talents of tomorrow...

This annual meeting, organized by the French Motorcycling Federation on the Carole circuit, on July 18 and 19, once again met a real success. This speed gathering, focused on the detection and training of young French drivers, demonstrated the interest of young people in Speed. The drivers responded in large numbers to the invitation of the FFM, one of the objectives of which remains the strengthening of its Speed Sector.

During these two days, more than 60 young pilots aged 6 to 14 years old, from Speed, Motocross, Trial or Enduro were able to discover the Speed Sector of the FFM. The majority of them, not having a speed motorcycle, were able to ride on the 25 Power machines and use the specific equipment made available by the FFM. All participants were able to benefit from technical and sporting supervision led by Alain Bronec, Sports Manager of the French Speed Sector, assisted by qualified instructors and Medical team FFM, in order to raise pilots' awareness of the risks of this sport and the means of prevention. At the end of this course, the participants were enthusiastic and several of them decided to join the ranks of the French 25 Power Speed Championships next season.

Otherwise, 32 more experienced pilots, participants in various national 25 Power and Pré-moto3 speed championships, were able to benefit from a free training and specific supervision in the heart of the summer break. In particular, they were able to benefit from the advice and care of a hearing aid specialist and an FFM doctor, made especially available to them during these days.

At the same time, several riders wishing to change category in 2018 were able to try the FFM motorcycles (100 NSF, 125 YZF, Pré-Moto3 and Moto3) of the Elite Speed Group, in order to prepare them for this transition, under the watchful eye of the President of the FFM, Mr. Jacques Bolle and the National Technical Director, Mr. Philippe Thiebaut.

Next meeting August 1 and 2 for the second FFM speed rally of the year, on the circuit of Alès Mechanical Center.
