The last 2-stroke Grand Prix returns to Paul Ricard to race!

For 9th edition of the Sunday Ride Classic, Paul Ricard will welcome its participants on the route of the future F1 grand prix: the large circuit of 5,8 km with the chicane on the straight!

But one of the major themes of 2017 (there will be 2 others to discover in February and March), will be the return of the 250 Grand Prix to the track during a real race !

Indeed, with 3 great moments around 2-stroke GPs, the SRC covers 4 decades of Grand Prix history with:

1) The most widespread competition motorcycle in the world: GENERATION TZ

A giant parade around all Yamaha TZs from 1973 to 2009.
An entire generation of drivers raced at one time or another with a TZ: Generation TZ
How many riders have ever been able to race a TZ? Incalculable!

This grand parade will honor the motorcycle which, single-handedly, democratized circuit racing by offering a fast machine at an affordable price!

2) The 79/80s Grand Prix: ICGP

You can find the 250 & 350 2-stroke Grand Prix bikes from the 70s/80s: Yamaha TZ, Chevallier, Kawasaki KR, Rotax, Spondon, Bimota etc…

3) The return of the last 2-stroke GP for a real race
But the hottest moment of the Easter weekend 2017 will certainly be the race with the LAST 250 Grand Prix (2000s) those of Rossi, Melandri etc...: the Class 250 GP.
Find the Aprilia RSV, the Yamaha TZ V2, the latest generation Honda RS… Legendary motorcycles
And what's more, the leaders of the Italian GP250 Championship will be at Castellet with many ex-works Aprilias... It's going to heat up!

From the 70s to the 2000s: the Sunday Ride Classic is 4 decades of motorcycle Grand Prix to be seen on the same weekend!
