Duration of this summer break in MotoGP, not everyone has been relaxing for four weeks. For example, the summer was not all rest for Honda troops who went to Brno for tests. However, it is precisely on this track that the start of the school year will take place, for the Grand Prix of the Czech Republic. A detour that Marc Márquez intends to take advantage of getting the chestnuts out of the fire in Moravia, and thus start the second part of the season in the best possible way.
Which would be a blow to the morale of his direct opponents since the reigning World Champion has already finished the first half with a bang: by triumphing for the eighth year in a row at the Sachsenring, the Catalan in fact won the equivalent three positions in the Championship, to take on the status of leader overall. It was his third consecutive podium, which had not happened to him since last year with the Mugello – Catalonia – Assen and Sachsenring series.
Over the past two years, he has also climbed the podium at this Czech meeting on the calendar, a track which has seen Honda triumph seven times since the establishment of the MotoGP category. The last achievement dates back only to last season with Cal Crutchlow. The great rival Yamaha has six successes there, but only one in the last six years, thanks to Jorge Lorenzo in 2015. Needless to say, the HRC will have big ambitions this weekend!

Marc Márquez has two victories at this stage of the season and leads the championship with five points ahead of Casa Particular in Viñales, six out of Dovizioso and ten on Red.
