Impossible to start the second part of the season with the smallest category of MotoGP without thinking about the one who left us yesterday and who will undoubtedly forever remain THE champion of small cars.

And if the atmosphere is gloomy this morning on the Brno circuit, the weather seems to have come together, with a track completely soaked by rain and a temperature of 22° in the air and on the ground.

In terms of small changes Darryn Binder, who was injured while riding Supermotard, is replaced by Dennis Foggiaas George Martin (team Gresini) makes his return here while he still gets around on crutches.

Here are the references available at the start of this resumption of the season:

The first surprise of the day comes from the wildcard Tim Georgi who intends to take advantage of these difficult conditions to showcase themselves. As a result, the young German, already a wildcard at the last Grand Prix in Germany, prances in the lead during the first half of the session in his yellow KTM #77 from the experienced Freudenberg team.

Midway through the session, Tim Georgi leads in 2'23.394, two and a half seconds ahead Niccolo Bulega, Andrea Migno, Tatsuki Suzuki et Philipp Oettl, while the rain is still falling so intensely.

George Martin prefers to stop his efforts around ten minutes from the checkered flag, while the attacks of the usual headliners always come up against the successive improvements of the young German driver Tim Georgi.

The latter, knowing the circuit from his presence in the German championship, allows himself the luxury of raising the provisional reference for this weekend to 2'21.970 on the last lap.

Jules Danilo, 26th, obviously experienced problems whose nature we do not yet know.
