For the first time this weekend, it is an immaculate sky which welcomes the drivers participating in this Grand Prix of the Czech Republic and, for the first time this weekend, the Moto3 category will be able to ride on a track dried.

So let's turn the page on the brilliant moments observed yesterday, whether they were carried out by the wildcard Tom Georgi or the titular pilots Adam Norrodin et Manuel Pagliani.

However, here are the references available at the start of the session which will take place with temperatures of 24° in the air and 29° on the ground:

First lesson of the day, after yesterday's sessions, his team decided to run more George Martin because he still lacks muscle power after his right ankle fracture in Germany. It should run in Austria.

Curiously, despite seemingly ideal conditions, the session begins with a series of falls: John McPhee (Without gravity), Enea Bastianini (Without gravity ), Andrea Migno (Without gravity), Niccolo Bulega (big highside), Ayumu Sasaki (Without gravity), Philipp Oettl (evacuated on a stretcher) and Jules Danilo. The latter also worries us because he is holding his left arm…

Niccolo Antonelli also makes a mistake, so much so that one wonders if the track presents a problem or if the drivers are too impatient to do battle for their first session in the dry...

Halfway through the session, and even if some of these drivers crashed after setting their time, the top hierarchy looks like this: Oettl in 2'08.889, Migno, Di Giannantonio, Sasaki, Rodrigo, Ramirez, Loi, Bendsneyder, Fenati et Arbolino.

Jules Danilo, 19th, is ultimately not injured and will be able to leave, whileAaron Canet improves greatly and takes provisional 3rd place.

During a fairly amorphous second part of the session, we observed improvements in Law et Bendsneyder but the command is retained by Philipp Oettl, although it no longer runs since its fall. You have to wait until the very last minutes to start seeing the partials light up in red with, in particular, Roman Fenati who abandons his 11th position in favor of 3rd.

Tony Arbolino also produced his effort, which propelled him into second position while Aron Canet moved from 6th to 2nd position.

Niccolo Antonelli fell for the second time in the session and it was confirmed that the track lacked grip after yesterday's rain.

In extremis, Niccolo Bulega takes pole position despite his previous big fall and only 6 laps completed!

Great performance from Dennis Foggia, the leader of the FIM CEV championship, which is positioned thirteenth.
