Having barely got off his official Honda RC213V after getting on the second step of the podium in this Grand Prix of the Czech Republic which took place “flag to flag”, heis a visibly happy and much more talkative Dani Pedrosa than usual who spoke to the microphone of the site MotoGP.com.
Congratulations on this second place in Brno. You had the pace to fight with Marc but your change of bike took place too late. Do you regret not coming home sooner?
Dani Pedrosa : “well, we know that in this kind of races it is a little difficult to know the exact moment. All day it rained, it stopped, it rained, it stopped. It's clear that it dried so quickly that we couldn't imagine it. And of course, you never know if there won't be a few drops again. So I was a little undecided but, for sure, I regret a ride. I decided on a lap later when I could have done it a lap earlier. That was actually my plan but ultimately I followed the group. So yes, I regret this lap, but I am of course very happy with this race. We had good pace and we were competitive throughout the weekend, which is super positive for the team. Unfortunately, we didn't have a perfect race but it was enough to get on the podium and we will continue this momentum. »
