This morning, for the first time this weekend in the Czech Republic, we attended a regrouping of forces present, with the five drivers leading the championship in the first five places in FP3. All in just four tenths.

However, the FP4 we are going to experience could present another configuration since it involves preparing for a race which is likely to take place on a wet track. Difficult exercise in which it will be essential to have the most balanced motorcycle possible and not necessarily the fastest this afternoon…

The track is now at 47°, the air at 29°.

Here are the references available at the start of this fourth 30-minute MotoGP session:

All time lap record

1'54.596 Marc Márquez 2016

Following his fall this morning, there are suspicions of a cracked vertebra for Cal Crutchlow...

The first thrown lap is performed by Jorge Lorenzo in 1'56.615 with a medium/medium combination, which demonstrates a very fast track.

Andrea Iannone, who was trying to follow Marc Márquez (hard/hard), made a mistake at turn #9 while the Honda driver brought the reference to 1'56.429. We take note that Valentino Rossi also uses this tire combination.

Alex Espargaro also falls without seriousness at turn #13 but it's his brother, Paul, who surprises everyone by placing fifth on his KTM.

At mid-session, the hierarchy presents the following configuration: Marquez, Folger, Lorenzo, Pedrosa, Dovizioso, Crutchlow, Pol Espargaro, Redding, Petrucci et zarco.

Valentino Rossi is 12th, Maverick Vinales 14th, Andrea Iannone 16th and Loris Baz 19e.

Maverick Vinales (dur/dur) begins the second part of the session by repositioning itself in sixth place while Johann Zarco, despite a little all-right, tirelessly continues to line up laps on medium/medium tires.

Loris Baz progresses to 15th place.

Eight minutes from the checkered flag, Valentino Rossi produced his effort and took fourth place, 3/10 behind the time of Marc Marquez. Another loop, and another place gained, 18 thousandths behind the Honda driver!

alex rins then takes 10th position, nine places ahead of its leader while Jorge Lorenzo takes the Ducati pack to fourth place.

The final packaging does not make any significant changes.

Ranking to come…
