Barely got off his official Honda RC213V after taking pole position for this Grand Prix of the Czech Republic in Brno, Marc Marquez spoke on the site's microphone MotoGP.com.
Congratulations on this pole position in Brno. The conditions were difficult and you had a heat at turn #3. How difficult was it?
Marc Márquez : “yes, you know, I always attack at the limit during qualifying and with the first tire, it's sometimes difficult when it's new. The braking point and references change a little. So yes, I struggled with the first tire, but even so, the time wasn't that bad. But with the second tire I attacked and did a good lap, and even then I could have improved in a few places. But I'm happy because here in Brno I normally struggle a lot, whereas this weekend it seems like everything is going pretty well. Of course, my pace is not like in Germany, but it's good and I feel ready to fight for the podium at least. »
