After an interesting start to the season, punctuated by two third places in Argentina and Catalonia, as well as three fourth positions, Pedrosa lost the rhythm a little from Assen, qualifying at best in the four consecutive Grands Prix only in ninth position, and with a meager sixth place at the finish. Since last weekend at Silverstone, he has returned to the top, even if Maverick Vinales took fourth position in the general classification from him with his victory.

Fourth in qualifying in England, Dani finished fifth in the race, less than half a second behind his teammate Marc Marquez. It is therefore with rising morale that he arrives on the banks of the Adriatic.

Sixth at Misano in MotoGP in 2007, Pedrosa then progressed to fourth in 2008, then third in 2009. There won in 2010, before finishing second in 2011, then third in 2013 and 2014.

“We arrive in Misano after a race which allowed us to gain a little more confidence and motivation. Taken by turn, I was able to better understand our strengths and weaknesses. We have to keep the same style in the next race weekend, focusing on testing, not making too many changes to the bike and working to understand how to use the tires better, choosing the ones that fit best at the track. We must remain completely focused on work. »
