While we thought we understood that the new Ducati GP18 would not make its appearance until the end of January at Sepang, the Pramac Racing team has just clearly revealed that Danilo Petrucci will have this machine at his disposal next week during the next MotoGP tests which will have place in jerez.

Following the Valencia tests on Tuesday and Wednesday, the official Ducati Team specified in its press release that “ The two Ducati Team riders used the test to make comparisons aimed at defining the details of the Desmosedici GP18, which is scheduled to debut at the first test of 2018 at Sepang from January 28-30. Lorenzo and Dovizioso will be back on track next week in Jerez de la Frontera for two more days of testing on November 22 and 23 before the winter break. »

It seemed perfectly clear, but after those same Valencia tests, Pramac Racing published that “Danilo Petrucci and his team worked on settings and development during the two days of testing. The Italian rider will ride the Ducati Desmosedici GP (2018 version) during the Jerez tests next week ».

This was also unequivocally included in the title of the Pramac Racing report:

We'll see what happens next week.

As for the Valencia tests, according to Danilo Petrucci, who are " We have been working hard on the setup of the bike trying to resolve the issues from last weekend and trying new components.

“A job for Ducati which is always pleasant to complete. I'm going to have the new bike in Jerez and I'm very curious to try it. »
