Dates and locations announced for MotoGP™, Moto2™, Moto3™, Moto3™ and MotoE™

Pre-season testing dates for all categories have been set, following previous confirmation of when the first test would take place at the Sepang International Circuit in early 2019.

MotoGP ™
After the 2018 season finale in Valencia, the now usual Valencia test will take place again on Tuesday and Wednesday after the race, on November 20 and 21, 2018. Another test will complete the season for the premier category, in Jerez on 28 and 29 of the same month.

Then the testing ban begins and the bikes will return to the track at the Sepang International Circuit. From February 1 to 3, the Malaysian site hosts a shakedown test, before the Sepang Test takes place over three days: February 6, 7 and 8.

The build-up to the second test at the Losail International Circuit spans two days, February 21 and 22, before the Qatar test takes place on the 23, 24 and 25 of the same month.

Valencia Test: November 20 – 21

Moto2™ and Moto3™ 
Riders in the intermediate categories will have the opportunity to do their first tests for 2019 from November 23 to 25, alongside MotoE™, at the Circuito de Jerez-Angel Nieto, before starting their winter vacation. In 2019, Moto2™ and Moto3™ action will begin in Jerez from February 20-22, before the second test takes place in Qatar from March 1-3.

MotoE™
In addition to their test alongside Moto2™ in November at Jerez, the all-new FIM Enel MotoE™ World Cup will also be on track for testing from March 12-14, still in Andalusia. A third opportunity to test the new category is also planned for the end of April, with dates to be confirmed.
