Like the Valencia circuit which has been full for 15 days (GP + MotoGP Tests + CEV), the Jerez track will still see Superbike and Motogp tests taking place before the mandatory stoppage period comes into force. December 1st.
They will begin next week, from Monday 20, for a Superbike category which should see a total of eight teams from the world championship, as well as a British Superbike team, on the Andalusian track in preparation for the 2018 season.
The following teams are in fact expected on the Spanish circuit:
– Kawasaki Racing Team (Jonathan Rea and Tom Sykes),
– MV Agusta (Jordi Torres),
– Althea Racing BMW (Loris Baz),
– Milwaukee Aprilia (Eugene Laverty and Lorenzo Savadori),
– Pedercini team (Yonny Hernandez),
– Puccetti Racing (Toprak Razgatlioglu),
– Orelac Racing Supersport (Nacho Calero),
– JG Speedfit Kawasaki (Leon Haslam and Luke Mossey).
Those of these teams who wish will be able to stay and compete against the Superbike teams Ducati SBK (Chaz Davies and Marco Melandri), Crescent Yamaha (Alex Lowes and Michael van der Mark), Barni Racing (Xavi Forés), as well as the MotoGP who will their arrival on Wednesday 22, for 2 or 3 days of testing.
Despite the absence of the Repsol Honda teams (Marc Marquez and Dani Pedrosa), Movistar Yamaha (Maverick Vinales and Valentino Rossi) and Monster Yamaha Tech3 (Johann Zarco and Jonas Folger), we expect:
- Ducati MotoGP (Andrea Dovizioso and Jorge Lorenzo),
- Suzuki Ecstar (Andrea Iannone and Alex Rins),
- Aprilia Racing (Aleix Espargaro and Scott Redding),

- Ducati Pramac (Danilo Petrucci and Jack Miller),
- Marc VDS (Franco Morbidelli and Alex Marquez),
- Real Avintia Ducati (Tito Rabat and Xavier Siméon)
- HRC (Takumi Takahashi).
The training sessions will start at 10 a.m. and end at 18 p.m., an additional hour compared to the last official tests in Valencia.
The weather forecast predicts a dry track with maximum ambient temperatures around 23°.
