While Kenan Sofuoglu won his third victory of the year, Lucas Mahias managed to resist the attacks of Jules Cluzel to finish in second position. Mahias thus increased its lead to 30 points in the provisional ranking of the World Championship.

Kenan Sofuoglu, the reigning World Champion, started from pole position, with at his side Lucas Mahias et Jules cluzel. A Kawasaki preceded a Yamaha and a Honda. The second line included the premises Luke Stapleford et Jack Kennedy on Triumph, as well as PJ Jacobsen, Cluzel's American successor at MV Agusta. The air temperature was 17° and that of the track 32°.

Luke Stapleford took the lead from the first corner, then Kenan Sofuoglu took over the lead, followed by Jules Cluzel. The two Triumphs preceded Lucas Mahias in fifth.

Sofuoglu led the start of the race ahead of Cluzel, Stapleford, Mahias, Smith, Kennedy, and Jacobsen who recovered after an average start. Sheridan Morais, second in the Championship behind Mahias, was only fifteenth. The engine of Xavier Cardelus' MV broke, leaving a long trail of oil in the last turn (the hairpin before the finish), hence the red flag interruption.

The new race took place over 13 laps. The grid was identical to the original. PJ Jacobsen had also broken the engine of his MV and could not participate in the second start.

Sofuoglu got the best start ahead of Stapleford, Mahias and Cluzel. Jules took third place from Lucas, then overtook Stapleford for second position, followed by Mahias. The two Triumphs of Stapleford and Kennedy were fourth and fifth, behind Sofuoglu, Cluzel and Mahias. Federico Caricasulo, Mahias' teammate, fell without seriousness.

Sofuoglu opened up a gap of 0.9 over Cluzel and Mahias with 9 laps to go to the checkered flag. Morais was in eighth position. Mahias took second position to the detriment of Jules Cluzel, 1.5 behind Sofuoglu.

With 4 laps remaining, Sofuoglu was 2 seconds ahead of Mahias and Cluzel wheel to wheel. Tuuli fell without seriousness and restarted twenty-second. Alessandro Zaccone also fell (OK).

Sofuoglu finally won ahead of Mahias, Cluzel, Stapleford, Kennedy and Morais. Mahias carried out a very good operation by increasing his lead in the provisional ranking of the World Championship to 30 points. Jules Cluzel came back in fourth position.
