The 40th anniversary of the Ducati Club de France, which was to be held in July 2020 on the Val de Vienne circuit (86), had been postponed to the summer of 2021 due to the health crisis linked to Covid-19. This event is once again postponed given the context constraining the organization of such an event. Despite this, the Club is very active and organizes many riding days.

Founded in June 1980, the Ducati Club de France (DCF) was to celebrate its 40th anniversary in July 2020. The big celebration was to last 4 days on the Val de Vienne circuit (86), but it had to be postponed until the summer 2021. As health conditions are still delicate, Olivier Ribette, who was president of the DCF for 9 years, confirms to us that “the 40 years, initially postponed to 2021 for the 40+1, are postponed again given the context requiring the organization of a big event as imagined. There will always be time to have another big sporting event later...".  There is no doubt that this is the idea of the new President of the Club, Patrice Brillouet!

It is obvious that such an event which mobilizes dozens of volunteers and brings together several hundred fans of the Borgo Panigale brand remains impossible to envisage for the moment: the DCF has no less than 1600 enthusiasts, which represents 4000 to 5000 motorcycles!

These four days, which already promised to be memorable, will undoubtedly be even more magical when the health situation improves.

This does not prevent this very active club from organizing several days of riding for Ducati fans, with the Competition part (Speed over 5 categories + 1 Endurance 300 Miles), as well as the JD' rides (“Ducati Club Days of France"). Something to keep enthusiasts entertained all year round, hopefully!

On the leisure driving side, the program includes a driving course (discovery or improvement) at the start of the season at Les Ecuyers. The Lurcy-Lévis and Carole weekends unfortunately could not be confirmed with the circuits, but the entire usual program is confirmed, including a new GIOSTRA inserted in the Competition format for the Vigeant weekend at the end of July , or the tasty Dijon-Prenois Day:

April 6, DCF Driving Course 2021, Schwatz Performance, Circuit des Écuyers
April 24-25, Ducati Days of Vigeant
July 30-31 & August 1, Ducati Days “la Giostra” du Vigeant”
August 13, Ducati Day in Pau-Arnos
August 14-15, Ducati Days of Nogaro
August 21-22, Ducati Days in Croix-en-Ternois
September 19, Ducati Day of Haute-Saintonge
September 27, Ducati Day of Dijon-Prenois

As for the competition program, there are five formulas welcoming the different generations of Ducati (and European cousins), with an Endurance event and a nice Speed program on the 2021 menu, on a selection of the most beautiful French circuits:

On May 14, 15 and 16, “la Furia di Bologna (1)” in Dijon-Prenois (21)
On May 21, 22 and 23, “il Rombo dei Conti e Termi'” at Castellet (83)
July 30, 31 and August 1, DCF weekend “la Giostra Diavolista” (“the diabolical ride of the Ducatists”) at Vigeant (86)
On September 03, 04 and 05, “la Furia di Bologna (2)” at Le Mans (72)
September 17 and 18, DCF / “Desmosonic Orchestra” in Haute-Saintonge (17)
On October 08, 09 and 10, “the Battaglia dei Bicilindrici Bolognesi” in Magny-Cours (58)
