After two consecutive victories which had put him in the wake of the leader of the title race Viñales, the official Ducati Andrea Dovizioso did not relax his efforts Assen to snatch a very precious fifth place. Certainly, the podium would have been possible, but with the fall of Viñales, this performance is enough to allow DesmoDovi to enter the next German Grand Prix at the head of an increasingly tight championship!
