Barely alighting from his official Honda RC 213 V, it was Marc Márquez visibly happy to have been able to maintain his third place against Cal Crutchlow in the last lap who spoke on the site's microphone MotoGP.com.

Congratulations on this third place in Assen. You had an incredible fight at the end. What was more exciting: the fight with Cal and Dovi, or keeping the right line in the last chicane?

Marc Márquez : “It was difficult throughout the race. Honestly, we knew that we would struggle on this circuit, that it would be difficult, and we knew that the conditions would change all the time. But ultimately, if you had told me that after the race I would only be 11 points behind first, I would have signed.
It was very difficult to know when to attack and when to try to stay there. I had a few heats, and then I said to myself “OK, it’s time to finish on the podium and stay there”.
I'm very happy because we usually struggle on this circuit, and so we had a very good podium. »
