Marc Marquez's start in the Australian Grand Prix was compromised by a rather unusual incident, as a tear-off, the visor protectors found on the drivers' helmets, got lodged under his rear wheel, causing him to spin. The #93, however, came back into the game, to clinch a victory with authority. By the end, the incident had already been forgotten, and Marquez and his team even had fun with it. The Gresini Racing troops were waving these famous tear-offs at the #93 in the parc ferme, and he then went to sign the location on the starting grid where his tear-off had come to rest before the start.
