There aren't many French riders able to ride a MotoGP!

Of course, there is Loris Baz, current owner of the Avintia team, but we know that the Haut-Savoyard is currently recovering, with a seriously damaged foot.

Next we have our two official test drivers, Randy de Puniet for KTM, Mike Di Meglio for Aprilia.

And, indeed, Randy de Puniet is currently in Jerez for a two-day test session with the Austrian firm (with Nicolo Bulega in Moto3).

But Mike Di Meglio is not currently riding for Noale…

So who?

It is of course about Johann zarco who, according to our information, arrived today in Japan to tame the GSX-RR, during a two-day session.

It is obviously very difficult to have the slightest information on this subject, but by dint of cross-checking, it would seem that there would in fact be not one but two test sessions, a first to get to grips with the beast, possibly at Suzuki's private test circuit, then another at Motegi a few days or weeks later.

Why go to Motegi when Suzuki has its own circuit?

Because, even if it means having the French driver try the beauty, he might as well do it on a circuit that he does not have to learn, so that it does not remain a simple handling but rather a real evaluation of the champion's abilities of the Moto2 world. We never know!

Obviously, we don't expect anything to filter from Sugo or the two rings, much less any timing. So let’s just hope that everything goes well for the one that Laurent Fellon affectionately calls “Jojo”…

Furthermore, according to the Spanish press, Alex Rins is also expected at the end of the week in Hamamatsu.
