Almost all of us have experienced this feeling of rage and injustice after being robbed or having a motorcycle stolen. A frustration and a feeling of helplessness that always creates a kind of trauma that only the years can fade.

This is unfortunately what has just happened to Mathieu Gines, 2019 French Superbike champion and endurance rider on Yamaha, in the room which housed his memories at his father's house in Ploemeur in Morbihan.

The worst part is that what the thugs took has no real monetary value, for use or resale: just souvenirs specific to the 32-year-old driver who made a foray into the Grand Prix in 2005. Leathers, helmets and his first (mini) motorcycle.

It is difficult to understand the motivations for this crime, undoubtedly committed by brainless people without any conscience who went to great lengths (intrusion through a hole in the roof) for nothing.

In any case, we share Mathieu's message, hoping that he will soon find his memories, on a famous classified ads site or elsewhere...

Thank you for sharing as much as possible especially for my leathers in France they will not be able to do anything with them.
Ps: I gave a Furygan leather to Cyril Mounier 😅
