The 2025 season promises to be crucial for the ELF Marc VDS Racing Team/KM99 team, born from the merger between the Belgian team KM99 and the prestigious Marc VDS Racing Team. After a solid performance in 2024, marked by a second place at the Bol d'Or and a fourth position in the overall standings of the Endurance World Championship (EWC), this collaboration aims to reach a decisive milestone: winning the world title, notably with our national Randy De Puniet.

KM99, which impressed as the top privateer team against giants such as Yoshimura SERT Motul, YART-Yamaha and BMW Motorrad World Endurance, is partnering with the team Marc VDS, famous for his successes in Moto2 (three world titles) and his experience in various disciplines, including MotoGP and MotoE.

Mario Küpper, director of KM99, highlighted the scope of this collaboration: “After many discussions with Yamaha and the Marc VDS team, we are proud to announce a major development for our team. The goal is clear : aim for excellence and fight for the title against the various factory teams"Being able to join the great Marc VDS family, which has dominated Moto2 for many years with three titles, while also having left its mark on MotoGP and MotoE, represents real motivation and immense pride for us."

The team retains its experienced trio of drivers consisting of  Randy de Puniet, a respected veteran with a wealth of experience in MotoGP and endurance, Jeremy Guarnoni, former FIM Superstock 1000 champion and Florian Marino, a versatile rider with solid experience in Supersport and endurance.

This trio is joined by the young Alessandro Delbianco, a talented Italian driver with valuable experience with the Yamaha YZF-R1His integration aims to strengthen the team in decisive moments, particularly in long races where driver rotation is crucial.

After a promising 2024 season, the stated goal is to compete with the factory teams for the world crown. The team will benefit from the Yamaha YZF-R1, combined with Dunlop tires, to maximize performance. The technical and strategic expertise of Marc VDS, combined with the solid structure of KM99, could allow them to close the gap with the leading teams.

The 2025 calendar includes demanding races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, Spa-Francorchamps  8 Hours of Suzuka, and the Bol d'Or. With fierce opposition from the factory teams, every detail will count to transform this ambitious partnership into concrete success.

The team ELF Marc VDS Racing Team/KM99 therefore has all the cards in hand to write a new page in the history of the Endurance World Championship, with a clear objective: to become world champion.
