Alex Marquez, 1st: “I am very happy today. I was very nervous because, ultimately, Pecco had won one race, Maverick another and me another, so I had to win. But Fabio was very fast today, certainly the fastest with one second per lap. Then when he made a mistake, I thought maybe I could take advantage of it a little, but we touched each other and we both fell. Marc was in front but in the last corner, I tried to brake very early and attack him when accelerating, because his mentality is the opposite: he tries to attack when braking, like in reality (laughs ). So I accelerated well and I won. »
Marc Márquez, 2nd: “So far this is my best result in MotoGP gaming and I can now retire (laughs) from the game. There is going to be a big party tonight because the family came first and second, and it It's great, even for the team! It was a very good day and, yes, I used my tactic of staying on the bike, which is the most important thing. I stayed on the bike and it's a shame that my brother beat me in the last corner, but we're going to have a discussion because… um… I don't like losing a race in the last corner (laughs). But anyway, if I'm going to lose to someone, I'd rather it be to my brother. The problem is that when I saw that Quartararo was crashing, I relaxed because I knew the podium was there, and if I crashed in the last corner, the podium was gone. But in the last corner, maybe it was my fault because maybe I was too nervous, but I pressed the rear brake button too long, so I slipped, like in real life: I expanded! But anyway, it was a great day for the Repsol Honda team (laughs). »
Valentino Rossi, 3rd: “I am very, very happy with this podium because it is an important result in my home Grand Prix. I trained this week and I feel better with the 2020 game, so I'm very happy, for me, for my team and for all the fans. I was quite fast this time and qualifying went well. I started from the middle of the second row, between Maverick and Marc Márquez. The race was good. Unfortunately, I made a mistake on the first lap and crashed. So I was a little behind, but I managed to keep a good pace and move up the order. Finally, during the last three laps, I saw the first three drivers and tried to maintain a good pace. Then Fabio made a mistake on the last lap and… podium! Ah, OK, that wasn't a mistake? Thanks Fabio! »
Fabio Quartararo, 4th: “I suffered a small fall. Álex also fell but it took me a long time and Álex was already 5 seconds ahead. In the end, I gave everything until the last corner but I wanted to give Vale the podium for his home Grand Prix (laughs) so I'm happy for him. »
Joan Mir, 5th: “I was hoping to be in the top 5. Finally, being closer to the boys in front is a little plus. I really enjoyed it, I had a lot of fun, and I hope people do too. »
Maverick Vinales, 6th: “My race didn’t go well. I qualified in fourth position, which wasn't bad, but I crashed straight away in the first corner, and then several times during the race. This time I wasn't able to practice, and that's what caused this result. It's disappointing, because I wanted to fight in the lead again. I will definitely train for the next round and come back stronger! »
