No more rain and no more night sessions for this second day of free practice for the Suzuka 8 Hours. And yet, the times were a little slower than those of yesterday, a fact undoubtedly to be attributed to the 35° which reigned on the Japanese circuit during the afternoon
After Suzuki Shell Advance Yoshimura #12 driven by Takuya Tsuda yesterday in 2'07.470 during the night, today we find that of Ryuichi Kiyonari at the top of the ranking thanks to a time of 2'08.642 achieved this morning.
La Sky blue Suzuki #17 from the Kagayama team precedes by only a few tenths of a second the Kawasaki from Team Green and Honda FCC TSR et Au & Teluru Kohara.
Note, regarding the Honda FCC TSR, that one of the two training machines was completely destroyed by fire, following a small fall without serious bodily harm. Dominique Aegerter.
Takumi Takahashi is still alone at the helm of the cutting-edge Honda Musashi RT HARC-PRO (see here) while the first Yamaha, that of YART extension, is positioned 8th, more than a second behind, theabsence of the Nakasuga/Espargaro/Lowes factory motorcycle who has just done his tests out of sight.
Tomorrow will take place the last day of testing, with the same schedule, namely two sessions in the morning and one in the afternoon, for each of the two groups.
