Estoril

The Yamaha representatives did as well at Estoril as they did at Le Mans by taking pole position for the Endurance event which will last exactly half the time. Those who have challenged them since the first test sessions are still there since on the second plot we find a BMW Motorrad World Endurance with strong ambitions.

The three pilots of the YART Yamaha did the right thing in the second timed practice session. Niccolò Canepa and Marvin Fritz et Karel Hanika dominated their respective groups. With a time of 1'37.674 minutes, Hanika did the essential. For the Austrian team, this is already the fifth pole position in the last two seasons.

Team BMW Motorrad World Endurance with Xavi Forés, Markus Reiterberger and Kenny Foray took second place for the twelve-hour race in Estoril ahead of the team Yoshimura SERT Motul composed of Gregg Black, Xavier Simeon and Sylvain Guintoli. FCC TSR Honda France with Josh Hook, Yuki Takahashi and Mike di Meglio follow.

Florian Alt, Florian Marino and Nicolas Terol of the Yamaha VRD Igol Experiences team are sixth behind Tati Beringer Racing and their Kawasaki. ERC Ducati Racing (Mathieu Gines, Louis Rossi, Etienne Masson) and SRC Kawasaki France (Jeremy Guarnoni, Erwan Nigon, David Checa) close the top 8.
