EWC 24 Heures Motos 2020: let’s get our hats ready…

With one hour to go before the checkered flag, the 43rd edition of the 24 Heures Motos seems to be heading towards a victory for the FCC TSR Honda #5 which took shape from the fall of the YART Yamaha at the start of the race.

Suspense is therefore not a priori what will characterize this 2020 edition, even if SERT's bet to pass the slicks on the drying track of the Bugatti circuit will undoubtedly liven up the last hour of the race to determine the third step of the podium, what the Suzuki is trying to maintain after a second fall, facing the YART Yamaha which is still coming back after the fall of Karel Hanika at the start of the race, all behind a Kawasaki SRC well installed in second position which has only known interventions minor.

The health situation and economic crisis had already reduced the number of competitors, but the difficult weather conditions made this adventure very delicate, even for the leaders of the world championship.

The brand new Honda, lined up under the FCC TSR Honda France colours, is one of the rare motorcycles which has not experienced any problems and has all the more merit for it, just like the Kawasaki SRC WeBike which had to overcome the defection of Pirelli and the health problems of his team manager.

Let's not sell the bear's skin yet, but let's prepare our hats... Not only for the teams of these two motorcycles, but for all the men who gave themselves without counting for well over 24 hours...
