The afternoon is preparing to give way to the evening on the Bugatti circuit of Le Mans, and the situation of the 24 Heures Motos is generally stabilized.
After a duel between the Suzuki #1 and the Yamaha #7 which resulted in some great battles between the two machines during the first hours of the race, the Yoshimura SERT Motul managed to build a lead of around thirty seconds on the YART – Yamaha.
But what an incredible battle between #1 of SERT and #7 of YART for 1st place! 😱#24hMotorcycles @Yoshimura_SERT pic.twitter.com/X8qPkBaiBb

Behind, the #5 Honda didn't give up and even slightly reduced its gap at the hands of Mike Di Meglio. But with a handicap of three and a half laps, this does not seem sufficient to hope for victory without incident for the two leaders.
Long in fourth position, the Yamaha #96 Moto Ain had to retire due to mechanical problems, while conversely the Kawasaki #11, at one time plagued by brake problems, got back to the edge of the podium.
Abandonment also for Yamaha #18, one of the favorites in a Superstock category currently led by National Moto.
A third of the race has been completed, when the light will soon fade and the competitors will plunge into night...
