The last opportunity to fine-tune the settings and get your bearings, the warm-up is also an opportunity for a little psychological war before the start of a 24-hour race.

Who is inherently faster? YART – Yamaha took over this role this morning during the last free practice session which took place from 8:45 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans.

During its 8th lap, the R1 which will be driven by Karel Hanika, Marvin Fritz and Niccolò Canepa, recorded a time of 1'36.179 which turned out to be 4/10 faster than its closest opponent, the official BMW M1000RR of Markus Reiterberger, Illya Mykhalchyk and Javier Fores.

The start of the race will certainly be lively, with the Suzuki Yoshimura SERT and the Kawasaki Webike SRC not counting on being outdone.

However, let's put into perspective these differences which appear a little anecdotal, a few minutes before the start of the famous endurance test which will now take place in less than half an hour...
