Tensions are rising on the Bugatti circuit as the 48th edition of the 24 Heures Motos enters its final hour. The ever-changing weather conditions continue to disrupt the order of events and cause twists and turns right up to the final laps.

At the front of the race, the scenario changed shortly after 14 p.m. As the rain intensified, the #11 Kawasaki, previously the leader, was caught out at the junction: Ramon Ramos crashed, damaging the bike and losing precious minutes. This twist of fate allowed the #7 YART Yamaha, ridden in turn by Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika and Jason O'Halloran, to take the lead in this 48th edition..

Weather management became crucial: most of the leading teams, including the No. 7 Yamaha and No. 11 Kawasaki, opted for wet tires in the hope of limiting risks on a soggy track.. But the pace has slowed and caution is required, as every mistake could still be costly just minutes from the checkered flag. With less than an hour to go, victory seems to be between Yamaha and Kawasaki.

Towards the end of the race, Di Meglio began to pick up a breakneck pace. He then caught the leading machine by nearly 4 seconds per lap, but was still 1 minute 30 seconds behind, with 20 minutes to go. Behind, the #6 BMW had definitively gained the upper hand over the #37, and Kenny Foray led his crew to another podium finish at Le Mans.

Despite Di Meglio's tireless efforts, at 15:00 PM, it was the #7 Yamaha, driven by Marvin Fritz, that took the checkered flag first. After a few crashes and 781 laps, Yart Yamaha claimed victory at Le Mans for the first time since 2009.

Superstock:

In the Superstock class, the suspense is total for second place. The #41 Honda, until then a solid runner-up to the #55 Honda, suffered a broken chain. The rider had no choice but to walk his machine back to the pits, leaving the way clear for the #36 3ART Best of Bike Yamaha, which could take advantage of this mechanical problem to take second place in the Superstock classification.

At the end of the 24-hour race, the No. 55 car won, securing a fine seventh place overall. The No. 41 Honda, driven by Diego Poncet, snatched second place ahead of the No. 35 Yamaha.
