It's now official: the YART Yamaha YZF-R1, driven by the formidable trio Marvin Fritz, Niccolò Canepa and Karel Hanika, climbed to the top of the timesheet at the end of the two qualifying sessions for the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, with a combined time of 2'19.251.
The 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, to be continued tomorrow from 14 p.m., promise to be exceptional. This is the second round of the championship FIM EWC, which continues after the resounding victory of the Honda CBR1000RR-R du FCC TSR Honda France during the 24 Heures Motos in April. Today, the Yamaha riders were the most incisive, from the first session at the start of the afternoon. On the Ardennes slide, the Austrian structure of the YART extension will try to win first position in the world championship, currently occupied by the Honda team mentioned above. As a reminder, the Yamaha with the number 7 was already on pole last year but was unable to convert during the event.

In the Superstock category, the crew of the BMW M 1000 RR #9 of Tecmas-MRP BMW Racing Team who got the better of his opponents, which confirms his good form after his category victory during the 24 Hours Motorcycles. Obviously, the crew of the Bisontin Loïc Arbel, Kenny Foray et Jan Bühn is favorite at Spa-Francorchamps, but also for the FIM Endurance World Cup world title.
