There are 24 motorcycles that will compete for 6 hours on the very technical and very physical circuit of Most in the Czech Republic, for the final of the World Endurance Championship.

For the two contenders for the title, the Suzuki Yoshimura SERT Motul #1 of Gregg Black, Xavier Siméon and Sylvain Guintoli and the Yamaha VRD IGOL Expériences #333 of Florian Alt, Florian Marino and Nicolás Terol, it will above all be necessary to avoid the pitfalls caused by a route comprising no less than 21 turns spread over 4,2 kilometers.

It is under an immaculate sky but with a morning temperature of only 11° that the start is given.

When the red lights went out, unfortunately a bit as usual, the YART which had pole position had problems starting, and it was Gregg Black on the Suzuki #1, Mike Di Meglio on the Honda #5 and Gino Rea on the #77 Yamaha who lead the pack and even created a gap of more than a second at the end of the first lap while the #7 Yamaha only appeared in 20th position.

Mike Di Meglio immediately took command while Marvin Fritz began his comeback on the #7 Yamaha, and Illya Mykhalchyk tried to close the gap with the leading trio on the #37 BMW. We know that the German machine is all the faster since it did private tests here, and the junction is made in less than 10 minutes.

At the end of the first quarter of an hour, the #37 BMW even took command after setting the best lap in the race in 1'34.751.

Meanwhile, the YART is going back up at high speed...
