Following heavy rain, the Race Direction decided to delay the start of the 8 Hours of Sepang which was to take place at 6 a.m. French time.
A meeting has been held since 6:15 a.m. with the team managers to decide on the course of action to follow, an even more violent rainy episode being forecast for in two hours...
However, if the motorcycles are stationary, the official timer of the event has been started, thus retaining the possibility of scoring all the points of the event.
