When we see the result that a “small” fall can have and we know that Randy de Puniet tried to continue the 8 Suzuka 2018 Hour race despite the pain, we can only have admiration and respect for this rider in particular but also all other riders in general who, let us remember, risk their physical integrity as soon as they get on their motorcycle.
Jorge Lorenzo experienced the same mishap in 2011 during the warm up at Phillip Island and, as far as the French driver is concerned, he declared that this injury was nothing compared to having compromised any chance of victory for the MuSASHI RT HARC-PRO team, the Honda #634 he shared with Dominique Aegerter et Ryo Mizuno having been damaged in the fall and forced to retire a few laps later.
