Thirty-seven teams, including 34 permanent FIM World Championship teams E.W.C., will take to the track of the legendary Spa-Francorchamps Circuit in Belgium from June 7 to 8 for the 8 Hours of Spa Motos, launched by official starter Stéphane Mertens.
Second round of the 2024 endurance season, the event taking place on the Ardennes toboggan has in fact seen its duration considerably reduced (by two thirds) in order to bring more dynamism to the Belgian classic.
There is no doubt that we will have dynamism, with top-flight entrants since no less than 13 riders have won one or more FIM Endurance World Championship titles.

This Wednesday is therefore dedicated to off-piste activities, with three events to please the public.
For on-track activities, you will have to wait until Thursday to see the motorcycles take on the famous steep slope of the “most beautiful circuit in the world”, designed to decide between the big hearts.
In addition to the Eau Rouge slope, “la source”, “or “Blanchimont” are all legendary appellations which will move the oldest motorsport enthusiasts…
In terms of the competition itself, we will recall that last year, at the end of the 24 hours of racing, le YART-Yamaha won with Marvin Fritz, Karel Hanika and Niccolò Canepa, his first victory over 24 hours since 2009, ahead of the FCC TSR Honda France et BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.
This year, after the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans, it is Yoshimura SERT Motul who leads the dance 9 points ahead of a duo YART-Yamaha et BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team separated only by 1 point.
