After achieving the best time during the 2023 Bol d'Or Free Practice, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team handed over to Yoshimura SERT Motul at the end of the first qualifying sessions on the Paul Ricard circuit.

For this 86th edition, the German team BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team established a first reference in 1'52.126, only 62 thousandths ahead of the YART Yamaha Official EWC Team, during FP1 this Thursday, which was already less than half a second from last year's pole position, snatched for the same team by llya Mykhalchyk in1'51.641.

But it was said that this Bol d'Or would be both fast and competitive, as the first qualifications showed, starting at 17:30 p.m.!

First to shoot, the Blue pilots, with Markus Reiterberger in 1'51”890 for this decidedly very fast BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team number 37.
But the Bavarian's advantage was only 2 thousandths over the Yoshimura SERT Motul led by Gregg Black…

Places for the Yellows this time Sylvain Guintoli in 1'51.695 on a Yoshimura SERT Motul creating a nice advantage over his adversaries led by Mike Di Meglio.

Alan Techer was the fastest among the Red Drivers in 1'51.707 on the FCC TSR Honda France, this time with a gap of more than a second on the field, and just 12 thousandths off the time of Sylvain Guintoli. 12 thousandths for 5673 meters of the Provençal route!

Finally, the Green drivers, roughly 52 for the best, i.e. Loris Baz, concluded this last 20-minute session before the night tests which will begin at 21:30 p.m.
