The Suzuki factory team dominated the second qualifying session and set a new record at the Paul Ricard circuit. Yoshimura SERT Motul is ahead of YART – Yamaha Official EWC Team and BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team. In Superstock, Team 18 Sapeurs-Pompiers CMS Motostore takes the best.

Contested on a dry track this morning, the second qualifying session saw records fall. Xavier Siméon records the new best lap in 1'52.374. Driver Yoshimura SERT Motul erases the record established during tests at the beginning of September (1'52.484) and he atomizes the best time established in qualifying during the 2019 edition (1'53.408).

Riding the official Suzuki, Sylvain Guintoli also went under the 1'53 mark and Gregg Black is not far away. This homogeneity of the crew allowed Yoshimura SERT Motul to take pole position in 1'52.772 and take the 5 points associated with pole.

The Suzuki, reigning world champion, will take first place on the starting grid ahead of the YART – Yamaha Official EWC Team.

Riding the Austrian Yamaha, Niccolò Canepa, Marvin Fritz and Karel Hanika form an ultra homogeneous crew. The three are held almost within the same tenth of a second.

Third on the starting grid, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team did not bring Javier Forés, injured yesterday, onto the track. But the official Belgian team can count on its replacement driver, Kenny Foray, to support Markus Reiterberger and Ilya Mikhalchik.

FCC TSR Honda France started in 4th position ahead of VRD Igol Experiences. Discreet but efficient, this first private team on Yamaha confirms its level of performance and its ambitions for a podium at the Bol d'Or.

VRD Igol Experiences is ahead of two official teams on the starting grid, Webike SRC Kawasaki France Trickstar and ERC Endurance-Ducati.

A fall by Sébastien Suchet delayed the progress of Tati Team Beringer Racing (Kawasaki) this morning, which finished 8th ahead of the Polish crews of Team LRP Poland and Wójcik Racing Team.

Moto Ain is 11th on the grid and must deal with the injury of Randy de Puniet in free practice. However, he should be at the start with Robin Mulhauser and Roberto Rolfo.

Superstocks in the Top15
In Superstock, Team 18 Sapeurs-Pompiers CMS Motostore (Yamaha) will start in 12th position on the grid but will have to recompose its crew around Hugo Clère. The Superstock crews make a group shot between 12th and 15th place. Behind Team 18 Sapeurs-Pompiers CMS Motostore, we find in order the BMRT 3D Maxxess Nevers (Kawasaki), National Motos (Honda) and RAC41 ChromeBurner (Honda).
