After the announcement of the end of Christophe Guyot's GMT 94 endurance program, he now wishes to devote himself to speed in Mondial Supersport, we wondered what would be the fate of its three drivers, David Checa, Mike Di Meglio and Niccolo Canepa.

The first to provide an answer was the Italian Niccolò Canepa, under contract with Yamaha Motor Europe, which will integrate the YART extension (Yamaha Austria Racing Team) where he will join Marvin Fritz and Broc Parkes.

The next one was Mike Di Meglio, which will strengthen the reigning world champion team, FCC TSR Honda, where it will replace Alan Techer next to Freddy Foray et Josh Hook.

All that was missing was to know the final fate of David Checa, who had already initiated discussions with the team SRC Kawasaki de Gilles Stafler.

These were successful and it is therefore alongside Randy de Puniet et Jeremy Guarnoni that the Spanish driver will start the 2018/2019 season at the next Bol d'Or which will take place from September 14 to 16 at the Paul Ricard circuit.
