The FCC TSR Honda France team will continue to call on Alain Techer, who participated in the Bol d'Or in September 2022 replacing Gino Rea, injured, as well as Josh Hook, for the 2023 FIM EWC season.

It is not time for vacation for the world champion team which is occupying the endurance news with a fairly sustained winter activity, shared between a winter test which took place on December 12 and 13 on the circuit Okayama International (see photos), an exhibition of the Honda CBR1000RR-R at Honda Welcome Plaza Aoyama and another at Suzuka City Hall.

The Franco-Japanese team takes the opportunity to extend Alan Techer next to Mike Di Meglio et Josh Hook and start the new FIM EWC 2023 season with the existing team. The objective of the year will be to aim for a third title and to do the double for the first time, as defending champion.

Masakazu Fujii, manager and owner of the team: “ In 2022, we set ourselves the goal of regaining the title, and we made every effort possible. There have been major obstacles to overcome, but the feeling of success is all the greater. We would like to thank FCC, Honda and all the other sponsors, partners and fans who always support us. The strategy for 2023 must not change. And the team structure remains unchanged from that of the 2022 Bol d'Or. A shakedown of the 2023 machine was also carried out recently, and it outperformed the 2022 model both in terms of response and data. The same drivers and teams that won the championship will be used for the next European tests and for the rest of the season. Our goal is to be champions for the second time in a row. As in the 2022 season, we will focus on the three 24-hour races, Le Mans, Spa and Bol d'Or, so that we can once again bring the news of our crowning glory to the public. »

Alan Techer : " I am very happy to ride again with the Honda family and the FCC TSR Honda France. I had the pleasure of sharing with the team at the Bol d'Or in September 2022 and winning the world championship for the team, and now I am even more motivated and will do my best to keep this number 1 on this motorcycle. Thanks to Mr. Fujii San and my teammates for trusting me. »
