A few days after formalizing the arrival of Xavier Simeon, the Yamaha Viltaïs Pierret Expériences team reveals its ambitions even further by integrating Florian Marino alongside the German Florian Alt.

A page is turning for the Yamaha Viltaïs Pierret Expériences team. And it opens onto a future with great ambitions! For its first season in EWC, the team supported by Yamaha Motor Europe and Dunlop is showing a real rise in power throughout its preparation. Thus, after the notable arrival of Xavier Simeon, today it is the turn of Florian Marino to join the Auvergne team.

Aged 25, the French driver hosted the World Supersport between 2011 and 2014 before moving to Superstock 1000 where the title narrowly escaped him in 2017. Florian Marino also knows Endurance since he completed the entire 2013 season within the Louit Moto team, an experience rewarded with a 3rd place in Superstock at the 24 Heures Motos.
Yannick Lucot was seduced by the talent, the track record, but also by the determination of this young rider loyal to the Yamaha brand.

Florian Marino will undoubtedly constitute a new major asset in the system put in place by the team manager, alongside the German Florian Alt and the two Belgians Xavier Siméon and Vincent Lonbois, the latter as reserve driver .

These important changes, which will be accompanied by a strengthening of management, do not modify the team's specialties in any way. Yamaha Viltaïs Pierret Expériences remains the only team on the grid to call on young mechanics in integration and professional training. Everyone is keen to write a new episode in their history in EWC, already rich with the 2016/2017 FIM Superstock World Cup title.
Faithful to their customs, the entire team and its partners will come together for a big launch party for the season, on March 21 from 18:30 p.m. at the CGR cinema in Moulins (03).

Florian Marino : “I kept very good memories of my first experience in 2013. I knew that I would come back to Endurance one day. I was sensitive to Yannick Lucot's motivation, state of mind and investment. The resources made available in this team are also very important and I know that they will allow me to work in excellent conditions. The team is putting together a good package to aim high, and it’s very motivating! »

After the first round of the 2018/2019 season, the Yamaha Viltaïs Pierret Experiences team is close to the Top 10 of the General classification, with 10 points scored.
