Six days have already passed since the Last update concerning Gino Rea and the news always goes in the same positive direction.
The British driver who suffered a very serious accident during testing for the Suzuka 8 Hours now breathes without assistance, communicates as best he can with his family in Japan and has even started neurological rehabilitation.
This is excellent news which is shared by his loved ones on the Instagram account of the pilot, in the absence of any official communication!
Update on Gino:
The last few days have been remarkable for Gino's progress. Communication is improving and neurological rehabilitation has begun.
As everyone knows, this kind of trauma takes time to heal, but Gino's speedy recovery is on track.
We would like to thank Mie Hospital, especially the doctors and nurses in the intensive care unit. We would also like to thank Suzuka Circuit for their help during this time.
