After barely a quarter of an hour of racing, the Oschersleben 8 hour event was neutralized by the safety car following a serious accident involving the Suzuki of the Team April Moto Motors Events team driven by Grégory Fastré and the Kawasaki from the AM Moto Racing Competition team driven by Chris Leesch.

Greg Black then led the race on the SERT Suzuki, a few tenths ahead of the BMW NRT 48 of Kenny Foray and the FCC TSR Honda France of Freddy Foray, themselves slightly ahead of the Yamaha GMT 94 by Niccolò Canepa and the Kawasaki of the SRC team Randy de Puniet.

At the restart, a very nice pass of arms took place between Greg Black et Kenny Foray before the Franco-British regained its leadership.

However, the race had to be interrupted again, due to the fall of the Kawasaki #16 of the GP Moto team which set fire to the grass approaching the circuit...

However, the race changed its appearance after the first refueling stops, allowing the Yamaha of GMT 94 to take the lead with a few seconds in advance, while the Suzuki of SERT saw all its chances disappear with the fall of Vincent-Philippe, fortunately not serious for the pilot.
