Xavi Forés will not be part of the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team for the 2022 season FIM EWC. The Spanish pilot revealed it by a fiery rant on social media two weeks ago, complaining of having been ousted in an ungraceful manner despite his solid performances.

Xavi Fores: « While everything seemed settled for 2022, after several phone calls with the BMW Motorrad EWC team and having reached a verbal agreement with them, today I received a call from them to tell me that I will not be part of their team. They won't have the driver who gave them two lap records at Estoril and Le Mans, and through no fault of mine... They won't have the driver who broke his shoulder because of a another driver who hit me while I was working for them, and they don't have the driver who in his time refused to continue in BSB in order to fight for the title before my injury. They decide to replace me for "marketing reasons" with another driver... I'm not going to go into details, I just experienced the situation with the least respect of my entire sporting career and with the least professionalism, and they consider themselves a factory team…
Now I understand the drivers to whom the brand did exactly the same thing in WSBK…
Above all, they left me in the lurch to warn me at that time and when everything was already completed….
@bmwmotorrad you don't deserve me as a driver or as a person. »

That's done !

JEREMY GUARNONI JOINS THE BMW MOTORRAD WORLD ENDURANCE TEAM

The French driver, 2018-2019 FIM Endurance World Champion, will ride the official BMW in 2022 with Markus Reiterberger, Ilya Mikhalchik and Kenny Foray. The BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team is already in winter testing in Spain.

The official BMW team managed by Werner Deamen is wasting no time. A few weeks ago, the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team secured its first victory at the 6 Hours of Most and the 2021 FIM EWC vice-champion place.

At the start of December, the team has already formed its 2022 team and is attacking its first winter tests on the Almeria circuit in Spain. BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team adds a new asset to the handlebars of the M 1000 RR: Jérémy Guarnoni.

After four seasons with the Webike SRC Kawasaki France Trickstar with a FIM Endurance World Champion title to boot, the French rider joins the BMW team which is starting its third season in FIM EWC in 2022.

At 28, Jérémy Guarnoni joins the German Markus Reiterberger, the Ukrainian Ilya Mikhalchik and the Frenchman Kenny Foray in the colors of the BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team.

He was able to discover the BMW M 1000 RR shod in Dunlop for the first time in Spain.

« I have very good feelings with this motorcycle,” admits Jérémy Guarnoni. “ The performance is truly incredible and I immediately felt comfortable on the handlebars. I am also very happy to join the BMW team. They expressed their interest to me and I am very flattered that an official team like BMW is interested in me. I have just had some very good seasons with a world champion title but at 28 years old, I needed to take on a new challenge. BMW is the best team for this. It is the team that invests the most in progress. I am really impressed with their professionalism. I am really very happy to join this team. I have a very good feeling with the mechanics, the team manager and my teammates. I already knew Ilya, Markus and Kenny as opponents and now they are my teammates and it's really cool. I'm sure we have what it takes to do great things next season and I'm looking forward to it. »
