We already had caught your attention on Miguel Oliviera's participation in the 12 Hours of Portimao (Portugal).

Well, the 3 Moto2015 world vice-champion did not miss his arrival in the world of Endurance, since he quite simply proved to be the fastest of the 90 riders who will participate in this event today, despite the presence of all the regulars in the category and a big fall during free practice which prevented him from participating in the first qualification.

A nice move from the Portuguese driver who, starting, should be able to liven up the start of the race, even if his compatriot Miguel Praia, 3 seconds slower, somewhat compromises the chances of victory for a crew also including the Frenchman Matthieu Lussiana.

Miguel Oliveira: “Yesterday I suffered a fall, but no serious physical consequences. I went to the hospital for safety, but I feel relatively good considering the overall situation. Today I just ran the 20 minutes planned in qualifying and realized that the pain I feel is limited. This is a new experience for me so I'm not too sure what I'll find, but I know I have to do five races in one day. »

However, in Endurance everything is possible and the Yamaha #44 of the Parkalgar Racing team will start in 5th position, behind the Kawasaki of the SRC, the Yamaha YART, the Honda FCC and the Yamaha GMT94.

Start of the race today at 10:30 a.m. French time on the television channel L'team 21, which is broadcast live from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., from 15 p.m. to 15:45 p.m. and from 18 p.m. to 19 p.m.

Eurosport 2 will also be live from 10:15 a.m. to 13 p.m. and 17 p.m. to 22:45 p.m.
