Another World Champion at VRD Igol Pierret Experiences. After a first experience last year at Le Mans, Nico Terol joined the French team. The Spanish driver will be the replacement driver for this team, 5th at the 2019 Bol d'Or.

125 World Champion in 2011 just ahead of a certain Johann Zarco, Nico Terol will be riding the VRD Igol Pierret Experiences Yamaha at the 24 Heures Motos. The Spanish driver made his first appearance in Endurance last year. He was riding the Honda Superstock of the Italian team SC-Project Paton Reparto Corse, noticed at the start of the race but forced to retire on Sunday morning.

In 2020, he joined the French team VRD Igol Pierret Experiences as a replacement driver alongside Florian Alt, Florian Marino and Mathieu Gines.

« I really like Endurance and teamwork, admits Nico Terol. You have to be very consistent whatever the weather conditions and you have to be precise on each lap. The VRD team is very efficient with a winning spirit and I love the Yamaha. If the objective may be to conquer a new world title, it is above all to start a new adventure. »

The Spanish pilot is an important element for the VRD Igol Pierret Experiences. “ He really liked his first experience, explains his team manager, Yannick Lucot. He worked on development with Dunlop and he wants to learn endurance with us. He will have to be able to replace any of our drivers, which I have no doubt about. »
