If there are still a good number of places to finalize, like for example the composition of Pierre Chapuis' Moto Ain team, which could reveal some nice surprises to us, the pieces are gradually falling into place on the chessboard of the world endurance championship.

Latest announcement to date, that of the VRD Igol Experiences team which has just integrated a fourth pilot, alongside Florian Alt, Florian Marino et Nico Terol. This is the British James Westmoreland, which thus completes a German-French-Spanish trio: we couldn't be more international!

« With four drivers of different nationalities, we are proud to represent Europe in Endurance Says Yannick Lucot, team manager of VRD Igol Experiences who is now distinguishing himself in the EWC category after winning the FIM Superstock Endurance World Cup in 2017.

Supported by Yamaha, the French team based in Moulins therefore aims to tease the big names in world endurance, which it has already done by finishing 5e of the last two FIM EWC races at the 24 Heures Motos and the 12 Hours of Estoril in 2020.

VRD Igol Experiences, also known by its former name Viltaïs, aligns Florian Alt for 5 years, Florian Marino since 3 years and Nico Terol since last year.James Westmoreland is therefore integrated as a fourth pilot, i.e. reserve pilot. Aged 32, he has been competing in BSB Superbike and Supersport since 2007, and already has solid experience in endurance thanks to his successful participations with the Motor Events team, victorious in Superstock at the 24 2019 Heures Motos and third in the category at the Bol d'Or the same year.

The Briton, recently made official on the #333, will make his mark during the next private tests in Spain before joining all his little comrades in the pre-Le Mans tests on March 30 and 31 in preparation for the 24 Hours Motorcycles, the first round of the season which will take place on April 16 and 17.
