The Japanese team 2017-2018 FIM Endurance World Champion has just presented its 2021 crew at Suzuka. Japanese rider Yuki Takahashi joins Australian Josh Hook and Frenchman Mike di Meglio in the FCC TSR Honda France for the next FIM EWC season.

Official team in the FIM Endurance World Championship, FCC TSR Honda France is preparing for the 2021 season with a new trio of drivers.

Yuki Takahashi, noticed in GP250 (5th in 2008) then in Moto2, also built his track record in the Japanese Superbike JSB 1000 championship (5th in 2018) and has just become the first All Japan Superstock 1000 Champion, a new category opened in 2020 in the championship Japanese.

But above all, Yuki Takahashi has a solid track record at the Suzuka 8 Hours. He took 3rd place on the podium in the 8 Suzuka 2010 Hours with FCC TSR Honda, then finished 2nd in 2012 aboard the Toho Racing with Moriwaki Honda. He continued with Moriwaki, consistently finishing in the top 10 at Suzuka.

Yuki Takahashi is now entered in the entire FIM Endurance World Championship with two other great champions.

Josh Hook, 2017-2018 FIM EWC World Champion with FCC TSR Honda France, reached the podium at the Suzuka 8 Hours in 2015 and 2017 with this Japanese team.

Mike di Meglio, GP125 World Champion in 2008, Moto2 and then MotoGP rider, has built up great experience in Endurance since 2017.

Title objective
Winner of the 24 Heures Motos last August during the first track outing of the 1000 CBR2020RR-R, FCC TSR Honda France is clearly aiming to regain the world title with this new crew.

Masakazu Fujii, team manager of FCC TSR Honda France:
« Before the 24 Heures Motos, Yuki Takahashi took part in our tests in Japan. There was no plan at that time. But to win, you must always move forward and try to improve the whole team, the drivers, the machine and the technical staff. Yuki Takahashi is a very good driver whose personality I understand and appreciate. This further strengthens our East-West collaboration. »

Yuki Takahashi, FCC TSR Honda France driver:
« I am very happy to join the FCC TSR Honda France team. My childhood dream is to be World Champion. I have experience in MotoGP and World Superbike. I will do everything to be World Champion with this team in Endurance. »
