Yesterday evening, the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit, on which the French round of WorldSBK will take place on October 2, 3 and 4, announced on its Facebook account that the test would take place in the presence of the public.

This clearly implies that the Nièvre prefecture has given its authorization for this, subject to special arrangements.

However, no details were given concerning the number of authorized spectators, this remaining at the discretion of the prefect in departments not classified red (5000 in departments classified red until at least the end of October).

In accordance with Dorna Sports' health protocol, the paddock will be closed to all spectators, but the sales stands will be present.

In addition to the possibility of encouraging our many representatives in this championship, starting with Loris Baz, this constitutes good news which could also constitute an argument in view of the French Grand Prix which will take place a week later, on October 11 at Mans.
Regarding the latter, we already know that unlike Magny-Cours which authorizes camping, the solution envisaged to welcome the public to the Bugatti circuit only concerns Sundays. We should have more details in the coming days...
