At the end of this Jerez Grand Prix which saw the domination of Valentino Rossi, there is still a lot to say.

We will do it in the coming days with, among other things, the complete and usual debriefing of Hervé Poncharal, but also that of Randy de Puniet who will bring us his discerning eye as a MotoGP rider.

In the meantime, we wanted to highlight a rather moving moment, after all these stories which somewhat tarnished the end of last season. Just a beautiful moment, which we wish to highlight for those who may have missed it...

Paddock-GP: Hervé, after the MotoGP race, did you notice this little glimmer of admiration towards Valentino Rossi in Marc Marquez's eyes?

Hervé Poncharal: " Yes! (silence)
There was everything that happened last year, which was obviously inflated by fans who are necessarily not objective. The transalpine and Iberian media also have their responsibility because they have added a little layer to exacerbate all this. But drivers remain athletes, and Marquez always said it, Valentino was his idol, he had posters of him everywhere and he was his role model. And even if there was what happened because of the stakes, there will always be a respect from Marquez for Vale, and there will always also be a respect from Vale for Marquez.

Afterwards, what happened last year, it was hot and it was very strong, but it is eroding and Marc, in any case, is a very sporty person, and he said that what Valentino did was exceptional, it was incredible, and he took his hat off to him.
I think from everything we saw this weekend, Marc is trying to make peace and reconnect with Valentino. That's clear! “

So this is excellent news!
