We already knew that Mike Di Meglio will be an official Yamaha rider for the GMT2017 team in 94 by Christophe Guyot.
However, its program will not be limited to this because, thanks to the good intelligence of all stakeholders, starting with Yamaha and Aprilia, the French driver will also discreetly continue his test program on the official Aprilia RS-GP, jointly with Eugene Laverty.
It is also the latter who is currently in Valencia for the second day of the Test as shown in our cover photo, alongside the starting drivers Aleix Espargaro and Sam Lowes.
This was obviously made possible by the distance between the MotoGP and EWC categories, and its participation in the development of the 2017 RS-GP should in no way harm its Endurance program.
So this is good news that will delight all French enthusiasts.
