The French driver looks back on his first day on the Red Bull Ring, an Austrian track located not far from the town of Spielberg.

Loris Baz concluded the first of two days of testing at the Red Bull Ring. For the Haut-Savoyard, it was a matter of getting his bearings and working on the settings of his Ducati GP14.2.

“We worked very well today,” confides the Avintia Racing driver. “I was able to complete 82 laps. We mainly worked around the settings to match my riding style and resolve the problems I have been experiencing since the start of the season. My foot suffers a lot on this Red Bull Ring track, but it's okay! »

Like Casey Stoner a few days ago, Loris Baz points out dangerous sectors on the Austrian route, “It's an average track, it lacks fast turns to be really fun,” He added. “Similarly, there are several dangerous areas that merit the addition of airfences. »

The Frenchman will be back on track this Wednesday before starting the summer break.
