A return to his roots for Adrian Newey
For the first time since its partial withdrawal from F1 in 2018, Newey designing a car from start to finish. After years devoted in part to the Valkyrie project, the British engineer regained total freedom. The result: an AMR26 immediately hailed as " extreme recalling the Mercedes Benz to a zero cockpit by 2022.
