MOTORCYCLE DISCOVERY DAYS: A NATIONAL OPERATION TO MAKE MOTORCYCLE SPORT ACCESSIBLE TO YOUNG PEOPLE
After the success of the two previous editions, the French Motorcycling Federation is renewing the operation of the Motorcycle Discovery Days on September 9 and 10, 2023 throughout France. The concept is simple: allow young people aged 6 and over to discover the practice of motorcycle sport in complete safety in the structures closest to their homes. For this the FFM and its President Sébastien Poirier activate the lever of proximity and surf on a constantly growing audience, in particular thanks to the results of its champions.

MORE THAN 70 STRUCTURES MOBILIZED IN FRANCE, INCLUDING 3 IN THE PARIS REGION
For this 3rd edition of the Motorcycle Discovery Days, the federal world, made up of Leagues, Departmental Committees, Motorcycle Clubs and French Motorcycling Schools, are mobilized and will be available to children and their parents to help them discover the motorcycle sport in a structure adapted to the practice, with safety equipment and supervised by certified professionals. In a warm and welcoming atmosphere, introductory motorcycles will be made available to children, from 6 years old, in order to discover different disciplines such as motocross, trial or speed. Also, some structures will open their circuit to people already in possession of a motorcycle adapted to the practice of their choice.
For the first time, three structures will be mobilized on the federal site of the Circuit Carole in Tremblay in France (93). THE FRENCH AND MOTORCYCLES: GROWING INTEREST
Particularly thanks to the performances of French pilots in the various World Championships, French motorcycle sport is enjoying growing popularity. This is evidenced by the 1000th Motorcycle Grand Prix which took place at Le Mans last May, during which 278 spectators (source: PHA) witnessed Johann Zarco's podium, making it the most attended Grand Prix of the history. This same event also broke an audience record in France with 805 million viewers on Canal+ which has also renewed its rights until 1,4 (source: Canal+). A few days later, the French Motocross Grand Prix met with great popular success, once again demonstrating the passion of the French for the different disciplines of motorcycle sport.

This is why it is necessary to make motorcycle sport accessible to young people aged 6 and over and to all social classes in the structure closest to them, but also to fight against urban rodeos by initiating responsible practice, in a secure, suitable place, with protective equipment and qualified supervision.
